"Market sentiment is mixed, with the S&P 500 and crude oil declining while gold gains, reflecting economic uncertainty. The AI landscape is facing increased scrutiny. Attorneys General are warning OpenAI about child safety risks, and Google Gemini is also flagged as high-risk. This regulatory pressure, combined with ongoing concerns about AI safety and copyright, is challenging the sector. Concurrently, the US is seeing a decline in capital expenditure, as reflected by SBI's projections. However, Vietnam is showing strong economic growth, with rising FDI, tourist arrivals, and retail sales. This divergence highlights a shift in global economic power and opportunities."

  • Monitor the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding AI, particularly regarding child safety, and assess potential impacts on product development and market access.
  • Evaluate the long-term implications of the slowdown in capital expenditure within the US, and consider strategic adjustments to investment and operational planning.
  • Assess the implications of the US-Vietnam trade agreement, especially regarding tariffs, and consider strategies to leverage emerging opportunities in the region.
  • Analyze the investment in gold and how it might affect the company's assets.
  • Evaluate market opportunities in the private security market in light of SIS Ltd's acquisition of APS Group.
